The Illustrated Wordier Workbooks are a new and updated version of the vocabulary books that we’ve used for years with our weekly pupils. Each chapter provides photo illustrations and word clues that encourage children to think about each word carefully before selecting an answer. Crucially, the book is peppered with revision exercises (which are sorely lacking in most vocabulary books) to ensure that your child remembers the meanings of new words long after they’ve finished this book.

FREE BONUS: Includes free online revision games and flashcards.

Great for:

  • Short exercises to supplement work at home.
  • Cloze test practice.
  • Practising using words in sentences and in different ways.
  • Understanding similar words and the differences between them.
  • Learning Latin and Greek roots to help children to decode new words in future.
  • Structured revision of new vocabulary to aid long-term retention.
